Who am I?

I’m a mom of two kids, a toddler girl and a baby boy. I love crafting, planning, and bargain hunting. My husband and I take our kids everywhere: to restaurants, to other cities, other countries, and to Disney. We’ve been to Disney at least 20 times in the past two years (and counting).

I started this publication to share the things I’ve learned from our many Disney trips. I’ll be posting weekly advice that can help you on your trip to Disney, such as things I wish I’d known the first time I went and how to work with a tight budget. Where the Tale begins…

With every Disney trip we take it has become increasingly apparent to me that my favorite part about going to Disney is planning the trip. It’s not that I don’t enjoy being at Disney, but I love making sure everyone has a great time so much that I find myself planning for months.

We started going to Disney March of 2021, when our daughter was a year and a half and we had just begun to do things again after Covid. Since then, we’ve probably gone on average at least once a month. So you could say I’ve picked up some tricks along the way, including how to make it more affordable (our budget seems to get smaller with every subsequent trip). With every trip I learned something new and had new struggles as my daughter grew up and I became pregnant.

I’ve been to Disney with a young toddler, while pregnant, with a newborn, and with two young kids. People love to say my kids are too young to remember these trips, but my husband and I will. And even though they might not remember a specific moment, these experiences will help shape the way they see the world. And I want them to believe that there’s magic and good in the world.
